I am trying to build up my bike team called The Mighty Wind to ride for various charity events in the NW. I chose the name for several reasons. One, it's my favorite movie; two, it seems appropriate for these parts given the winds we often have; and three wind is powerful, just like riding for good causes. Last September there were 5 of us riding for MS for the inland NW chapter. I'd love to see the team grow for this year's MS ride. As a smaller team, we also rode for The ALS Double Day Ride two weekends ago and the 8 Lakes Leg Aches ride to raise money for the SAFeT Response Center this past weekend. I love riding charities because the rides are well supported and it is always for a good cause. Please feel free to email me if this is of interest to you. My address is: mereditha@wsu.edu .
I teach in the Dept. of Speech and Hearing Sciences at WSU and I live in Moscow. You may see me on the trail riding to and from work.
